In December 2007, in an article in our 'Investing and Online Trading' stock market newsletter' called "Crash vs Bear Market' - we presented the findings of my analysis of the previous Bear markets and crashes over the past 20 years. In particular, we highlighted the warning signals which occurred on stock charts prior to the previous 4 Bear Markets.
We also showed how the stock market was giving a similar warning signal at that time in late 2007. We closed our newsletter's notional portfolio on 7 January 2008 , when the exit signal was triggered. Those Members who followed our lead have saved themselves from NOT losing literally millions of dollars in 2008-2009.
